Hands up anyone who’s managed to stick to their new year’s resolutions? If you’re anything like the team at 4Talent, your good intentions will have collapsed the second a cigarette/pint/packet of pork scratchings (delete as applicable) crossed your path. We did make one resolution we’re sticking to, though: to make 4Talent West Midlands an even better source of stories, info and opportunities.

As a first step, we’ve decided to expand our borders, to make sure we’re not missing out on the best material from the numerous excellent centres of creative industry surrounding the region. From now on, you can call us 4Talent Central England, and look forward to the inclusion of talent from places like Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Gloucester, Oxford, Cambridge and Norwich.

If you’re a West Midlands creative, don’t worry – we’ll still be dedicated to covering Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton and the rest of the region as we always have done, and, better yet, will be in a position to raise your profile over a wider area. This change is all about forging greater links and better networks for the talented folk who read and contribute to the site, so please do get in touch with all your creative news and events – that’s what we’re here for.

For general press, ideas for articles and any site feedback, write to commissioning editor Catherine Bray at catherine@4talentmagazine.com, and if you’ve got an event or opportunity you’d like to see listed on the site, let Helen Byrne know at helen@4talentmagazine.com.
