The Film session is filling up, with some great names leading it. Bafta winner Amma Asante has just signed up so whilst we sort her biog, check out who’ll be joining her:

Andrea Calderwood
Andrea is an experienced film and television producer, and a former Head of Drama at BBC Scotland, where she commissioned hit series including The Crow Road and Hamish Macbeth. She executive produced the Oscar-nominated Mrs Brown, before moving to the role of Head of Production at Pathé Pictures. She co-founded Slate Films in 2000, and her latest project has seen her Bafta and Oscar-nominated for her role as Producer on Film4’s The Last King of Scotland.

Peter Carlton

He has executive produced numerous films, including the award-winning Me and You and Everyone We Know, as well as Dead Man’s Shoes and This is England, both directed by Shane Meadows. His latest project, Straightheads, has just finished production.

Peter Kosminsky
Peter has directed some of the biggest names in
Hollywood – including Michelle Pfeiffer and Renee Zellweger in White Oleander – but his TV dramas have drawn the most praise. He picked up eight awards for his 1999 drama Warriors before The Government Inspector propelled him to national prominence, winning two Baftas in the process.
